What’s New with Salesforce?

Shine a Light on Your Salesforce with the Salesforce Optimizer & Cloud Adoption Solutions, Complimentary Salesforce performance analysis!

Today, we’re highlighting an underrated gem: the Salesforce Optimizer—a tool that can drastically improve your Salesforce instance. Plus, we’ll introduce Cloud Adoption Solutions’ Complimentary Salesforce Performance Analysis, which uses the Optimizer and other tools to give you a comprehensive look under the hood of your org.

What is the Salesforce Optimizer?

The Salesforce Optimizer is designed to help organizations maximize the efficiency and performance of their Salesforce environment. It analyzes your setup, identifying inefficiencies and providing actionable insights to optimize your system.

Key Features:

Performance Analysis: Identifies areas where the system may be lagging, like unused custom fields, reports, or dashboards, and offers recommendations to streamline operations.

Security Enhancements: Assesses security settings to ensure data protection and proper user access levels.

Customization Review: Suggests improvements or removals of unnecessary custom objects, fields, and code.

Best Practices Suggestions: Provides tips for maintaining a clean, efficient, and scalable Salesforce environment.

CAS: Complimentary Salesforce Performance Analysis

Think your Salesforce instance could use a boost? Great news! Cloud Adoption Solutions (CAS) offers a complimentary performance analysis for small to midsized businesses. This analysis has provided tremendous benefits to our clients and prospective clients.

This comprehensive analysis includes:

Salesforce Optimizer: We’ll run this tool on your behalf.

License Utilization Optimizer: Ensures you’re not paying for unused licenses.

Element’s Cloud Report: Analyzes your org’s metadata to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, such as legacy automations being sunset by Salesforce in 2025. It can pinpoint underutilized fields that are costing your team time and opportunities.

The CAS team synthesizes these reports into easy-to-understand insights and provides a prioritized list of suggested changes.

No obligations to work with us after receiving your results, but we’d be delighted to help if you decide to!

User Adoption Research: Details from my PhD Research

The Literature Review Process

The Literature Review process is a challenging and arduous one: the researcher must evaluate hundreds of peer-reviewed publications that tie to the study. The Literature Review Checklist “identifies state-of-the-art knowledge” in a very specific field, and writing a dissertation on CRM User Adoption had not quite been done before (and according to my research, has not been done since).

I found that I excluded way more sources than I included as I was researching literature. This process can be quite lonely, but in my case, it truly made me live and breathe the subject. I know all of you got sick of hearing me talk about it and think through it, but the work was worth it.

Here’s an excerpt from my dissertation:

“Only academic, peer-reviewed literature was evaluated for the purposes of this research study; however, it should be noted that many…organizations will choose a CRM system based not on academic information, but on information provided by CRM vendors and proprietary studies run in support of the software systems.  The review of literature section is divided into bodies of literature related to CRM usage at nonprofit organizations and theories regarding CRM user adoption including Adult Learner Theory, Change Management Theory, and Diffusion of Innovations Theory.”
